Function of braking resistance: 1 Protect the frequency converter; 2. Protect the power network. The firecracker motor converts the regenerative electric energy generated by the rapid shutdown into heat energy. The principle of resistance braking is that the rotor has current flow, which generates torque opposite to the rotation direction in the magnetic field of the stator, consumes the kinetic energy of the train, and achieves the purpose of braking. When the motor or other inductive load driven by the frequency converter stops, it is generally realized by energy consumption braking, that is, the kinetic energy of the motor and the magnetic energy in the coil are consumed through another energy consuming element after stopping, so as to realize rapid shutdown.

Main hazards
